About Merrill
Merrill Trejo Winpenny has a lifetime of experience in the game.
He has lived football from the inside — as a player, coach, volunteer, scout, and academy founder — and understands the realities, pressures, and opportunities that come with pursuing a career in football.
Merrill played football in both the UK and Mexico at amateur level and has spent over 18 years building and running a successful football academy. He is a qualified football scout and has coached both boys and girls across multiple age groups.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Merrill brings a truly international outlook and a strong professional network across global football markets.
Most importantly, he has a genuine passion for helping players reach their potential — on and off the pitch.
